Join us March 28-30, 2008 in Austin, Texas

for the 4th annual Leadership Training Seminar

Hosted by the University of Texas at Austin Hillel

LTS Registration: extended until space is full!

Now in its fourth year, the 2008 KESHER Leadership Training Seminar is aimed at developing and motivating current and new leaders. LTS gives students the tools they need to create, build and strengthen Reform Jewish community on their campuses.  There are many opportunities to gain skills applicable to overall leadership, with personal development (for Underclassmen) and networking (for Seniors) on topics ranging from programming, outreach, Israel, social action, religion, culture, and more.

Find out why LTS is so unique! An article by Aaron Taylor.

Whether you are a senior looking to network with Jewish professionals and discover how you can stay connected to Reform Judaism after college…

Or you're a freshmen just feeling things out…

If you're looking to learn and/or feel like you have knowledge and experience to share…

Perhaps you have been a Reform leader for years…

Or even if this is the first Reform Jewish thing you've ever done. ..

the 2008 KESHER Leadership Training Seminar is for you!

The only prerequisite for attendance is that you have the desire, motivation, and creativity to become a leader and to learn, network and have fun with Reform Jewish students from across the country.

QUESTIONS? please contact Jill at jgoldstein@students.keshercollege.org

We are dedicated to giving students the tools they need to create, build, and strengthen their Reform chavurah (group) on Campus, whatever their situation may be. For some, KESHER serves as an entirely separate entity from the Hillel board, complete with an executive committee and programming chairs. For others, it's simply a group of Reform students who found a niche within their Hillel, and are looking for Reform resources to strengthen the level of programming within Hillel. And, in some cases, your KESHER may even just be you.

Get ready for a weekend packed with learning and networking! This is your opportunity to learn how to create the programming and structure you've been dreaming about.  Workshops and discussions will be lead by students, clergy, Jewish professionals, professors from the University of Texas at Austin , and Reform lay leaders.  Become the advocate for Collegiate Reform Judaism!

LTS is funded by student fundraising efforts and generous support of grants from the Men of Reform Judaism and the Hagshama Dept. of the WZO and TaMaR.

LTS Regular Registration costs $65 through March 12th or until space is full!

Registration includes meals, supplies, and other activities during the weekend.

It does not include transportation to/from the seminar. All programming will be on the Univ. of Texas campus, and all participants are entitled to free housing in a UT student dorm/apartment if they indicate their request on the registration form (follow link on top of page).
