The Beit Midrash is a dynamic institution which believes in the principles of egalitarian worship and study.  You will learn in the hevruta, or study partner, method in a program that combines traditional Torah study with liberal, egalitarian spirit.  Both year-long and short-term programs are available.

Religious Action Center

Eisendrath Legislative Assistant (LA) Program

LAs play a pivotal role in every aspect of the Center’s work-legislative advocacy, monitoring legislation, and representing the Reform Movement on Capitol Hill and in coalitions.  They plan conferences, disseminate communications materials across the country, and prepare materials and work on task forces for the Commission on Social Action.

Steinhardt Jewish Campus Service Corps

Hillel’s Steinhardt JCSC is the nation’s first assemblage of recent college graduates dedicated to one year of full-time, on-campus service to the Jewish campus community.  Fellows use their creativity and skills to engage students not previously connected with Jewish campus life.  Fellows attend national conferences for training and networking.  Fellowships are full-time, eleven-month positions, beginning August 1.

Arline and David L. Bittker Fellowship

A one-year, post-college fellowship at the Hillel International Center.  The Bittker Fellow works on Jewish awareness, identity, and empowerment programming.

Annual Fellowship: $19,500

Public Policy Fellowship

A one-year, post-college fellowship at the Hilllel International Center.  The fellow works on a broad range of public-policy issues, including community service, voter registration, political action, campus race relations, and environmental action.
